Faulder & Meadow Valley Update - Invasive Plant Info Session and Water System Recap.

INVASIVE PLANT INFORMATION SESSION - JULY 3

FAULDER WATER SYSTEM

Thank you to all who attended the Faulder Water System meeting on June 12. Below is Liisa Bloomfield's presentation, and here is a link to the Faulder Water System Capital Plan. Link to the RDOS Faulder Water System page. Link to RDOS Water Restrictions page. Thanks very much for your continued efforts in water conservation (despite the rain). : )

In summary, as you can taste, chlorination is removed. If any concerns emerge, the chlorination will be turned back on. As for the Capital Plan, most of the possible recommendations are already underway, and there are no anticipated major/new system upgrades. If you have any questions about your water system, please contact Liisa. If you have any concerns, please contact me at rgettens@rdos.bc.ca or 250-488-0246.

Liisa Bloomfield, P.Eng. PMP

RDOS Senior Manager of Utilities p. 250-490-4229 or Lbloomfield@rdos.bc.ca

Please note:

As the chlorination has ceased and the capital pan didn't provide anything unexpected, I will no longer update the Faulder Water System page on OurAreaF. Faulder Water Systems updates will come through the OurAreaF blog (what you are reading now), sandwich boards/posters, or VoyentAlert! Please sign up so you receive notifications from the RDOS or myself.

Thanks for reading, and as always, reach out to me if you have any questions.
